AN APP FOR MAKING VIDEOS TO INTEGRATE YALE UNIVERSITY ALUMNI

Yale University, based in Connecticut, is one of the world's most prestigious educational institutions. An Ivy League school, it is based in New Haven (Connecticut), however Yale alumni are scattered all over the world. One of its most prestigious programs is the “Yale World Fellows.”

Yale World Fellows offers 16 global leaders who hold key positions, one of the most important programs, which lasts four months and is completely transformative. The program was established in 2002 and now has a network of hundreds of “fellows” in 84 countries.

This presents a communication challenge to the university’s commitment to maintaining ongoing training and communication among its alumni

For Yale World Fellows, communication has been much easier since a custom video platform was implemented, where they can share conferences or the most relevant events and courses with each other. Anyone, at any time, can broadcast live to the entire community. Those responsible for the program may, likewise, upload interesting videos for their community and send alerts through applications when new content is available.
